Join us for an “Anything Goes” workshop — a fun and creative space where students can explore any style or medium that suits their interests, age, and skill level.

Each student receives personalized guidance and encouragement to develop their artistic voice and experiment with new techniques.

Learn how to create creatures by using techniques and back stories inspired by master artist and creator Hayao Miyazaki. Using watercolors, color pencils or acrylic markets students will learn color theory, shapes, shading and mood to create a fantastical character that has a deep connection with its audience. Students are also welcome to recreate famous characters.

Do you love portrait art but struggle with human proportions? In this course students will learn how to sketch faces or people by using basic shapes to render harmonious and energetic works of art depicting humans or even non-human faces and figures by gaining an understanding of shadows, bone structure and proportions.

In this "follow along" style art class we will all be painting the same landscape together, while learning how to mix warm, cool, and complimentary colors, understanding perspective, brush work, composition, and personal voice.
